Biography

Madison Abigail is a classically trained soprano, singer-songwriter, producer, guitarist, and independent music artist. Her thoughtful music combines poignant lyrics with a polished, genre-defying style. She writes songs that resonate deeply, blending elements of folk, pop, and acoustic-driven soundscapes with modern production. Madison Abigail excels in expressing both vulnerability and strength in her music.

After years of writing and performing, Madison Abigail released her self-titled debut EP, Madison Abigail, in November 2023. This record marks the beginning of her musical career, showcasing an ethereal and contemplative sound along with a narrative style that captivates listeners. For Madison Abigail, releasing her debut EP was more than just a career milestone; it represented the realization of a long-held dream. She has since released two EPs, Madison Abigail and Sunday Matinée, along with two singles titled autumn leaves and Given to Us.

Madison Abigail earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Meredith College. During her undergraduate studies, she made her professional debut with the North Carolina Opera in their production of Puccini's La Bohème and also participated in their 2024 production of Verdi's Ernani. She interned and performed with the North Carolina Opera's Education and Outreach program for three years. Additionally, she spent four consecutive years performing with the White Iris Light Opera, culminating in her leading role as Nanette in their production of No, No, Nanette during her final year. Throughout her time at Meredith College, she was an active member of both the Meredith College Chorale and Meredith Encore. She had the opportunity to travel and perform with the Chorale, making her Carnegie Hall debut in 2023. During her undergraduate studies, Madison Abigail presented a sophomore recital, a junior recital, and her graduation recital. In May 2024, she performed as a guest soloist with the Triangle String Orchestra, singing Mozart's Exultate Jubilate. In May 2025, Madison Abigail will perform as a soloist with the Raleigh Symphony Orchestra after winning that season's Concerto Aria competition.

Madison Abigail is pursuing her master’s degree at Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain. She is poised for a significant academic and artistic transition, ready to make a profound impact on the world. Amid the excitement surrounding her new single, Sky Carousel, it is the authenticity and emotional vulnerability of her music that set her apart. Whether performing solo with her guitar or collaborating on stage, her music invites listeners to engage in an experience that is both personal and expansive.
